Kiteboarding is the fastest growing watersport of the last years and our Team was with it from day one. Kiteboarding combines elements from surfing, wake- and snowboarding with the flying skills of traction kites and paragliding. The kiter does not need a wave or a boat, an inflatable kite and a little bit of wind produces enough power to surf over flat water. Experts use the kite to jump and perform rotations, grabs and other tricks.

The strong Nortada wind and the big lagoon offer ideal conditions to learn and practice kiteboarding on the Algarve. The Wind from the north gets accelerated by the serra de monchique and hits the shallow water of the Alvor lagoon.
