WINGFOILING LESSONS LAGOS
At Algarve Watersport we offer different types of lessons on wing foiling.
If you are not sure which is the best for you contact us so we can advise you and tailor your learning plan personally for you.
Beginner Wing control lesson
Take your first step into the winging. Learn the theory of winging at the beach and try your first rides on big windsurf boards. The lesson takes 2 hours (ask for a lesson at the office)
Group Wingfoil lesson
Practice your wingfoiling in a group lesson. Share a wing set up with a friend and rest between your rides. The lesson takes 3 hours
Semi private Wingfoil lesson
Practice your wingfoiling with your own equipment.
The lesson takes 2.5 hours
Foiling lesson at Wake park
Recommended lesson for people who never tried foiling. Learn how to glide above the water being pulled by cable. Only focus on balance and foiling!
Lesson takes 1 hour.
Private wingfoiling lesson
Are you working on the riding or maybe first leg swaps? Learn basics and advanced techniques with the undivided attention of your instructor.
WINGFOILING PROGRESSION
Start with learning the theory of wing foiling on the beach. Learn how to prepare your gear and safely move with a wing. Ride first meters on big floatable board.
Learn how to harness power of the wing on the board, work on pop ups and riding upwind on the board.
Learn how to foil and glide above the water. (separate foil cable lesson recommended)
Start foiling with the wing. Ride on big foil board with the Wing and learn how to fly over the water!
WINGING PARADISE IN ALGARVE
Our wingfoiling lessons take place at one of two spots around Lagos.
Ria de Alvor – The shallow and flat lagoon between Lagos and Alvor is one of the greatest spots for water sports in the Algarve. Of course for Wing lessons we need some water therefore we are always aiming our lesson time for high tide when the lagoon is spacious and offers excellent conditions for learning wing surfing.
Meia Praia – 8 km long main beach of Lagos. With offshore wind we do more advanced wing foiling lessons at this spot. With boat support we will make sure you will always come back to the beach. Meia Praia offers excellent conditions due to butter flat water with offshore winds and lots of space.
You are comfortable with winging but still struggling with balancing on the foil? We have a perfect solution for you! We are also offering foiling lessons at the Wake Park Lagos. Practice your foiling behind the cable with short mast foil so later you can balance on the wing foiling board with no sweat!
Wingfoiling is an amazing sport and we want to provide the best experience while learning it. Therefore we take an individual approach to every student and plan the lessons at these different spots depending on the level of the student and wind conditions.
