The Camps

For surfers and going-to-be surfers we have two options of camps:

The Camp House Lagos is the perfect place for people who like to go surfing during the day and party at night. If you like to try some other watersports like kiteboarding, wakeboarding or windsurfing this isalsothe right accommodation for you.

All spots for the nightly entertainment, the beach and the wakeboarding boat can be reached by a short walk and the transportation to the surf spots are included.

From the camp we reach about 20 different surf spots within 30 min. drive.

The camp is located in a quiet town area of beautiful Lagos. The house has five double or dorm-bedrooms and a cosy lounge with wifi-internet, cable TV and a multimedia computer system. You can fix your own meals in the well equipped kitchen, fire up the BBQ in the patio or hang out in the hammocks. If you rather eat out you will find a great variety of great restaurants and snackbars in the center of town only a three minute walk from the kitehouse. Lagos is party capital of the Algarve, the young and crazy scene comes from all over the world. Aussies, Kiwis, Canadians and Euros party until dawn.

The SURF LODGE is locaded in Vale da Telha, Aljezur. If you want to stay in a quiet place on the rual west coast close to the surf-spots Monte Clerigo (beginner) and Arrifana (advanced) with the legendary reefbreak kangaroos (pro).
Our surf-hostel has room for 12 person. You can choose if you want to stay in a double or dorm room. some doubles have their own bathroom. At the camp you are free to use our big, well equipped kitchen to fix your own meals.
If you don´t like to cook during you vacation visit one of the nearby restaurants and bars for some great portuguese cusine. After your day in the water you can be chilling on our sundeck with a cold beer, have a swim in the pool or fire up the grill for a nice relaxed BBQ. In our lounge you can check your mails on the camp computer and watch the latest surf-films and movies on the video-projector. All rooms have free Wi-Fi internet.

The Surf Course

Beginners

Our Team of friendly and experienced instructors (all certified by BSA or FPS) will introduce you to surfing. At the Algarve we can choose of lots of different beaches to pick the apropriat depending on the conditions and skill level. At the beginning of the course you will learn the basics about waves, currents, tides and equipment, how to paddle and handle the board in the water without risking your and the others surfers health. We usually get everybody up on the first day and with the first takeoff you start into a new outdoor sport passion.The beginners use foam surfboards for safety and full length wetsuits to stay warm and confortable.

Advanced

If you have already some surfing experience we offer coaching to reach your personal goals. If you want to ride on the shoulder of the wave, do bottom and top turns, duckdiving or ride more vertical, our coaches will be happy to paddle out with youand help you to bring your surfing to the next level. We offer boards from NSP and Bic in different sizes depending on your level and weight.
